Professional Background

Manuel Mair works as an Data Center Architect at SAP SE in the Global Cloud Infrastructure & Delivery Division in the Data Center Management department.

Before the turn of the millennium, he completed his master craftsman’s examination in electrical engineering and has since been working in the data center sector with various focuses ranging from planning and operations to research and development. His profile is rounded off by additional qualifications as CDCE, CDCS, CDCP, AOS, TSI.Professional, ATD, BICS, and a master’s degree in system architecture.

Manuel Mair is a member of the national standards committee DKE/GK 719 Data Centers, head of GAK 719.02, a member of TC 215 WG 3, and editor of EN 50600-2 -2 at the European level. He is also involved as a technical expert and project manager for Germany in the international standardization environment of ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 39 WG 1 & WG 3.

Since 2015, Manuel Mair has been working as a freelance speaker/lecturer for the DCE academy.
